Nickelodeon throw the
biggest kids styling party on Earth!
One Day, 1000+ Kids
& A Team Of Over 65 Stylists & Salon Professionals
Spa-Go’s mobile day spa was chosen again, 8 years in a row,
by The Promotional Edge event company to recruit the best in hair and nail
stylists across America and find the best in kid friendly products and style
accessories.
Spa-Go’s chose expert hair stylist and artistic creator Beth
Jessee of Jessee Salon Group in Adrian, Michigan, 8 straight years, to create
and photograph the children’s hair styles.
Spa-Go’s chose expert hair stylist Selena Acosta of Los Angeles,
California to help further create, direct and train the stylists here in Los
Angeles and work at getting vendors on board who offer superior child friendly
products.
Style board photos this year were a team event and our team
consisted of Wendy Mathis, Selena Acosta and Margie Aranibar on nails and a
team of hair design and stylists from Spa-Go’s Mobile Day Spa including Selena
Acosta, Sheri Hines, Mayra Nunez, Susana Orellana, Michael Flores, Erica Jaklofsky
and Sha Juana Nibblett.
Styling products chosen were from Got2Be, ENJOY, Graftobian,
ColorMe by Giuliano and Glop and Glam. Florescent
polishes were by Nina. Hair pieces used
were clip in by Glop and Glam. These
were the best in products, safe, temporary and the perfect product for anyone
wanting to have bold hair and styles.
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards boasts itself as the
largest event in Hollywood and the pre-show VIP go-spa styling party took place
on March 29, 2014 at Shutters on the
Beach Hotel, Loews Hotel and Le Meridien Delfino Hotel, all located in Santa
Monica, California. The actual event had
well over 10,000 children in attendance. The KCA awards show is televised in
more than 228 million households across Nickelodeon’s 50 channels in America,
Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and Latin America.
Special teams who participated were Anne Fisher and her
mobile salon and spa, Spa-Go’s from Los Angeles, California; Yvonne Jeffrey’s
kids salon and spa KAOS from Austin, Texas; Sheri Hines of Shear Talent Mobile
Salon in Seattle, Washington; Tony Rodiles salon Pigtails & Crewcuts in
Chula Vista, California; Heidi Castro and her salon Pelito’s Kids Salon &
Spa in El Segundo, California and Tammi Mixen & Amy Sawyer, private
stylists from Loveland, Colorado.
